Another kit from Beer-wine Hobby kit and have been having good luck with these kits. Gathered the water the night before and added in the salts along with milling the grains. I setup the Anvil for 152F(66.6C) so its ready when I wake up the next morning.

@06:04 the Anvil was up to 148F(64.4C) and added in the grains and waited for the system to hit the 152F(66.6C) which was 06:07. With 30 minutes left in the mash I stopped the pump and gave the grain bed a good stir. @ the end of the boil turned the Anvil up to 167F(75C) to mash out, I hit temperature and left for a minute before pulling grain bag. Let the wort drain and turn the Anvil up to 100% 212F(100C) while the wort is draining and cleaned what I could while I wait. Took a gravity reading of 1.040SG.

@08:01 started the boil timer and added in the 60 minute addition. Added in the wort chiller and other stuff per the recipe and at the end started to cool the wort as quickly as I could. Pulled a wort sample of 1.043SG. @09:05 wort was down to 143F(61.6C). @09:11 was down to 107F(41.6C). @09:17 down to 93F(33.8C) @09:30 Pitched the yeast and placed in the my keezer at 54F(12.2C)

@13:20 on August 24 took a reading of 1.016SG and added in the dry hops. I did turn the keezer up to 65F(18.3C) and let it free rise while fermenting when got below 1.030SG.

@17:00 on August 27th i transferred over to a keg to carbonate and chill out. With a long weekend didn’t want it sitting to long on the hops. I did end up twisting the pickup tube into the hops and had to remove and clear the line but got it cleaned and had to reverse push the beer to get the air out of the line. Pulled a beer sample of 1.010SG which give me a beer right at 4.33% right where I like them.
