HBR – Peanut Butter Cup Stout

So I have to say I’m usually not a fan of these beers but it has grown on me and I’m really enjoying it. https://dirtybucketbrewing.com/beer/peanut-butter-cup-stout/ This beer came in at a nice 3.9% so you can have a few, which for me is my limit on this. I had brewed this beer back on August 30th and kegged on the 13th of Sept. With this beer being about a month old I feel all the flavors are there, just enough. I really don’t know where this would fall under the BJCP so I’m not going to link to it but going review the beer based on what i’m tasting and seeing.

Appearance, as you can its a dark beer, when I shine an LED light though it its a red dot looking through it. I’m pretty sure its a clear black as I see the light very cleanly. The head was tan/off white and lasted for a little bit, would have like to have it last a little longer.

Aroma, right off the bat I get hit with a peanut butter aroma

Flavor, I get a mild peanut butter flavor on a mild roasty backbone. Has a slightly creaming mouthfeel that coats your mouth, After you swallow your mouth drys right up wanting another sip. Off of memory I do feel this had a lot more peanut butter flavor when I first tapped this. I really enjoy the amount there is right now as its there but not in your face.

Overall, this beer is awesome, Kudos to Homebrewsupply.com for this awesome kit. Its a great beer for after you eat a meal to sitting at your computer typing away. Great beer and will have to brew again.
