So after a day fermentation didn’t kick off and decided to pitch the newer yeast I had. I didn’t want to wait to see if something happened. Later that day when I got home from work fermentation kicked off and was going. I dry hopped at high krausen on day two and used my metal hop screen as I didn’t want to deal with the hop debris I was dealing with before clogging my tube. Due to a long weekend I went a full 5 days on dry hop. That is typically a little high on what I do. Once I got back I took a hydrometer reading of 1.008 SG and gives me an ABV of 4.46%. After taking the reading no need to cold crash this one like the last, I’m looking to keep the haze although if the cold crash doesn’t drop the haze, its not a true haze 8). Oh well I just really want to drink this beer 8P. Transferred over to a keg and tossed in the refrigerator on CO2. Cleaned fermentor and tasted the sample I pulled. Pretty tasty and has a good haze. Can’t wait to try it cold and carbonated.
