UPDATE: Grapefruit Pale ale Brew Day 6-12-2022

So noticed the activity was slowing down to a crawl and I’m planing on going to Maine tomorrow so figured Id take a gravity reading and add the hops. I soaked a hop bag in sanitizer and squeezed out added the hops per the recipe and when I opened the lid saw a kruisen and added the hops, I really wanted to added them with some activity left and will take a sample Sunday or Monday when I get back.

Fermentation finished up a few days later and pulled a 1.009 SG out of it which gave me about 5% alcohol on this batch. Sorry forgot to take pictures, busy week. Once finished up I tossed into the fermentation chamber to cold crash. After a few days at 38 degrees F I transferred to a keg and then onto my refrigerator to carbonate up. Pulled a little sample and this is going to be good. Very tasty and has some nice flavors of grapefruit.
